# Dead Stop: Stop the Clock on .000

> A free one-button reflex game: stop a running clock on exactly .000 of a second. A daily run with a board and streaks, and Nine Lives, the arcade mode.

Dead Stop is a free one-button reflex game: a clock runs to the millisecond, and you tap to stop it on exactly .000. Land on it and that's a DEAD STOP. It plays in any browser, on a phone or a computer, and adds to your home screen like an app.

## Two Game Modes

- **Dead Stop:** one counted run a day on each difficulty (Easy, Normal, Expert and Unhinged). Keep stopping until you hit .000; the fewer tries, the higher you rank on today's board. Streaks count the days in a row with a DEAD STOP.
- **Nine Lives:** nine lives, and every stop uses one. Each stop puts three red zones on the ring, worth 50, 100 and 500 points; a 500 wins back the life it cost, so there's no cap on a score.
